Customer Support Engineer

Basic Function

We’re seeking a Customer Support Engineer to join our industry-leading team to ensure our customers’ most common touch points and experiences with our software are extraordinary. This role reports to the CTO and is responsible for maintaining relationships with current clients by addressing their technical needs post sales and implementation. By combining a deep product knowledge with excellent customer service, this individual will provide proactive training and guidance, engage resources to resolve issues quickly, and help clients find greater value in their Enveyo software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical solutions and configuration services in a post-sales capacity
  • Receive and troubleshoot customer issues after implementation; coordinate with appropriate teams to solve problems
  • Develops the tools, processes, and methods based on best practices to improve the client’s experience with the software
  • Educate clients on how product functions and the ways it moves them closer to their business goals
  • Work closely with the sales team, customer support, product development, and other departments
  • Evaluate customer needs to suggest upgrades or additional product features
  • Assist clients with executing regular maintenance activities

This position requires a technical candidate, with a strong development, consulting, and support background with proven customer-facing & relationship management skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to maintain strong relationships with clients and provide customer service
  • Tech-savvy professional who is able to explain technical information to a non-technical audience
  • Strong planning and organization skills; ability to think critically
  • Hard-working self-starter capable of concurrently running multiple projects in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to grasp clients’ needs and recommend value-added solutions
  • Comfort in working both autonomously and collaboratively
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented with an ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

Experience & Education

  • 1-5 years’ experience working in a technical, consulting, or client-facing role who has supported an enterprise system
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline required
  • Experience working with big data is preferred
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US
